Lahore Qalandars will face Karachi Kings in the Eliminator of PSL 2025 on May 22, 2025, at Lahore. According to Wisden, Lahore Qalandars needed to beat Peshawar Zalmi in their last league match to qualify for the PSL 2025 playoffs, securing fourth place on the points table.
Karachi Kings, on the other hand, were at second place until their last game but were overtaken by Islamabad United. Islamabad United not only drew level on points with Karachi Kings but also did enough to make it to Qualifier 1. They lost to Quetta Gladiators and will now play the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 on May 23.

Hosts Lahore Qalandars will be without Sikandar Raza, who left for the Test match in England after the league stage. Raza had been one of their key players in their run to the playoffs. However, they have replaced him with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who is joining them for the playoffs.
Karachi Kings are probably the best-equipped when it comes to returning overseas players. Captain David Warner, Tim Seifert, James Vince, and Mohammad Nabi all played in the last league game and are set to play tonight.
