Salah’s Liverpool Bliss: Star Forward Sets Sights on More Success

Mohamed Salah Revels in Liverpool Happiness as He Sets Sights on Future Success

Liverpool, England – Mohamed Salah has spoken about the immense happiness he felt during the 2024-25 season, which saw him help fire Liverpool to the Premier League title. The Egyptian forward, 32, enjoyed a standout campaign under the guidance of Arne Slot, scoring 28 Premier League goals and 18 assists.

According to This Is Anfield, Salah was voted Footballer of the Year by the Football Writers’ Association and was presented with his award in London on Thursday night. In response to receiving the accolade for the third time, Salah stated: “Winning the Premier League and to have had that impact in the team, I have never felt that happiness in the club.”

The Liverpool star highlighted the significance of their title win, particularly given the departure of key players and manager during the off-season. As quoted by This Is Anfield, Salah said: “That moment winning the Premier League against Spurs, to have (had) that impact with the number of goals and assists. Winning the Premier League after that great players left and a good manager left also, it is so special.”

Salah’s performances were instrumental in Liverpool’s success, and he has since committed his future to the Anfield club by signing a new two-year deal in April. As This Is Anfield reported, Salah had doubts about his ability to replicate his previous form, but he worked hard to set an example for his teammates. He revealed: “When I came into the season, it was like: ‘okay, will I be able to do it again?’ I had that conversation with myself. I said: ‘okay, let’s find out’.”

The Egypt international praised his teammates and manager, stating that Liverpool’s success was a collective effort. As cited by This Is Anfield, Salah said: “We have a very good group of players and a very good manager. We started the season well and now we won the Premier League.”

Looking ahead, Salah expressed his desire to continue Liverpool’s winning ways, both domestically and in Europe. As quoted by This Is Anfield, he said: “Hopefully we can win the Premier League again and also the Champions League.”

Salah’s commitment to Liverpool and his desire for continued success will come as a boost to the club’s fans. With his impressive form and dedication to the team, the Egyptian forward will undoubtedly be a key player in Liverpool’s pursuit of further silverware. As reported by This Is Anfield, Salah’s happiness and determination will be crucial in the club’s bid to replicate their 2024-25 season success.
