Jelly Roll Lands Cameo Role in CBS’s Fire Country
Country music star Jelly Roll is set to make a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of CBS’s popular drama series, Fire Country. According to Country Living, Jelly Roll will star in Season 3, episode 17, of the Northern California-based firefighting drama, titled "Fire and Ice".
The episode, which airs this Friday, April 11, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, follows the station 42 crew as they respond to a ski resort accident in which a chair lift malfunctions. Jelly Roll will play the role of Noah, "a healthcare worker and former convict who is in the process of turning his life around". In an interview from set, Jelly Roll explained that he strongly identified with his character, saying "I really found myself in this guy. When I came home from my last time being incarcerated, I was so determined to change who I was as a human. If music didn’t work, I have a feeling I wouldn’t have been far fetched from being Noah working someplace just trying to help people."
This is not Jelly Roll’s first foray into acting. In September 2024, he appeared in season 2, episode 2, of Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King. He has also been named as the first-ever artist-in-residence on American Idol. With his cameo in Fire Country, Jelly Roll is continuing to expand his reach beyond the music industry.
Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, took to Instagram to express her excitement about his new role, exclaiming "He’s an actor now baby". Fans of the country star also took to social media to share their enthusiasm, with one commenting "Can’t wait to see my favorite singer on my favorite show…You rock Jelly Roll". Another fan remarked "This show continues to bring the thrills and anticipation in every episode. I can’t wait for this episode. I’ve been a huge fan of Jelly Roll for over a decade now, and I really like this show. LFG."
The episode of Fire Country featuring Jelly Roll will also be available to stream on Paramount Plus. Fans of the show and the country star can catch his cameo role this Friday. As reported by Country Living, Jelly Roll’s appearance on the show is set to be a highlight of the season.
In addition to his acting credits, Jelly Roll is also set to release a new song, "Dreams Don’t Die", on Friday. According to Country Living, fans of the country star are in for a big week, with both his cameo role on Fire Country and his new song dropping on the same day.
