White House Initiates Review of Presidential Actions

Investigation Launched into Potential Misuse of Presidential Power by Former President Biden’s Aides

A memorandum released by the White House on June 25, 2025, has revealed that an investigation is being launched into potential misuse of presidential power by aides of former President Biden. The investigation, ordered by President Trump, aims to uncover whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about President Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.

According to the memorandum, obtained from the White House website (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/06/reviewing-certain-presidential-actions/), there are serious doubts about the decision-making process and the degree of President Biden’s awareness of executive actions taken in his name. The memorandum states that President Biden’s aides may have used an autopen to conceal his cognitive decline and assert Article II authority. This raises concerns about the legitimacy of numerous executive actions undertaken during his presidency.

The White House has confirmed that President Biden suffered from serious cognitive decline during his presidency, with the Department of Justice concluding that he should not stand trial due to his incompetent mental state. Despite this, the White House issued over 1,200 Presidential documents, appointed 235 judges to the Federal bench, and issued more pardons and commutations than any administration in United States history.

The investigation will focus on several key areas, including any activity to purposefully shield the public from information regarding President Biden’s mental and physical health, any agreements between aides to cooperatively and falsely deem recorded videos of the President’s cognitive inability as fake, and any agreements to require false, public statements elevating the President’s capabilities. The investigation will also examine the circumstances surrounding President Biden’s supposed execution of numerous executive actions during his final years in office, including the use of an autopen to sign policy documents.

As stated in the memorandum, "The Counsel to the President, in consultation with the Attorney General and the head of any other relevant executive department or agency (agency), shall investigate, to the extent permitted by law, whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President." This investigation has significant implications for the legality and validity of numerous executive actions undertaken during President Biden’s presidency.

The White House has emphasized that this memorandum is not intended to create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States. The investigation is expected to shed light on the extent to which President Biden’s aides may have misused their power and the implications for the presidency.

According to President Trump, "The Nation is governed through Presidential signatures. In recent months, it has become increasingly apparent that former President Biden’s aides abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority." The President’s statement highlights the gravity of the situation and the need for a thorough investigation.

The investigation is a significant development in the ongoing scrutiny of former President Biden’s administration. As the probe unfolds, it is likely to have far-reaching consequences for the individuals involved and the institution of the presidency as a whole.

In related news, concerns have been raised about the use of an autopen to sign policy documents, including clemency grants, Executive Orders, and Presidential memoranda. The investigation will examine who directed that the President’s signature be affixed and the policy documents for which the autopen was used.

The White House has assured that the investigation will be conducted in accordance with the law and will aim to uncover the truth about the potential misuse of presidential power by former President Biden’s aides.

The memorandum concludes by stating that, "This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person." This ensures that the investigation is conducted fairly and impartially.

The news was made public through a memorandum from the White House, which can be accessed at https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/06/reviewing-certain-presidential-actions/.
