Lil Wayne to Bring "Tha Carter VI" Tour to Kansas City
Renowned hip-hop artist Lil Wayne is set to embark on a national tour in support of his latest album, "Tha Carter VI", with a stop in Kansas City. According to a report from Yahoo News, the five-time Grammy Award winner will bring his show to the T-Mobile Center on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, as part of a 34-city tour.
The Yahoo News report states that Lil Wayne’s "Tha Carter VI" Tour will feature the artist performing some of his greatest hits, including "Tha Block Is Hot", "Go DJ", "A Milli", "Lollipop", and "6 Foot 7 Foot". In addition to these classic tracks, the rapper will also perform songs from his upcoming album and snippets from popular songs he has been featured on.
This will not be Lil Wayne’s first time performing in Kansas City. As noted by Yahoo News, the rapper has played multiple shows in the area at venues like T-Mobile Center and Starlight Theatre. Most recently, he performed at Azura Amphitheater for 2024’s Kelce Jam.
Fans of Lil Wayne who want to see him live in concert will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the show. According to the Yahoo News report, tickets for the show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 6, on Ticketmaster. Fans can also sign up for presale access on the artist’s website, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4. A Rolling Loud presale will also be available at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, using the code "ROLLINGLOUD".
