Star’s Future in Jeopardy After Falling Out with Guardiola

Manchester City Star’s Future in Doubt After Falling Out with Guardiola
====================================================================================

A Manchester City star has reportedly fallen out of favour with manager Pep Guardiola, with sources suggesting there will be “no way back” for the player at the Etihad Stadium. According to Football365, the player’s performances had not been bad this season, but a request to leave in January and a subsequent loan move to AC Milan had upset Guardiola.

The player in question is Kyle Walker, who has won six Premier League titles with City. However, it appears that his time at the club is coming to an end. Football365 reports that Walker asked to leave in January and was loaned out to AC Milan, but the move did not result in a permanent transfer. According to Pete O’Rourke, a football insider, “It’s pretty certain there’s no way back at Man City. Obviously, he upset Guardiola by asking for that move in January to AC Milan.”

Walker’s Future Uncertain
————————-

With Walker set to return to Manchester City for pre-season, it is unclear what his future holds. However, O’Rourke believes that it is “inevitable” that he will move on. “Heading into pre-season it looks like he will return to Manchester City. He’s in the final year of his contract and not in Pep Guardiola’s plans, it seems inevitable he will move on,” he told Football365.

Several Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Walker, who offers great experience and has a strong pedigree. Additionally, Walker has expressed a desire to play abroad, which could lead to interest from clubs outside of England. O’Rourke notes that “some Premier League clubs will look at it because he offers great experience. The player himself has had that taste of playing abroad and that’s something he could be interested in doing again long-term rather than on loan.”

Potential Destinations for Walker
———————————-

Football365 reports that Fenerbahce have made an offer for Walker and are in talks with his agent over a two-year contract. However, it is unclear whether Walker will accept the offer or if other clubs will enter the fray. Walker has also expressed a desire to return to Tottenham, his former club, and may be open to a move back to north London.

In related news, Arsenal have been tipped to raid Manchester City for one of their stars, with a shock deal “way more likely” than expected. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly doing “everything they can” to stop Manchester City from raiding their squad for a crucial star.

As the transfer window heats up, Walker’s future is set to be a major talking point. With his contract entering its final year, Manchester City are likely to look to sell him rather than risk losing him for free next summer. One thing is certain, however: Kyle Walker’s time at Manchester City is drawing to a close, and a move away from the Etihad Stadium appears imminent.
