As we head into Easter weekend, there are numerous events taking place across the Los Angeles area, offering a range of activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. The following events have been compiled from the LAist, a reputable source for news and events in Southern California.

Easter egg hunts are a popular activity during the Easter holiday, and there are several taking place across the city. According to the LAist, some of the top Easter egg hunts include the Mar Vista Easter Egg Hunt, Rustic Canyon Spring Festival, Love Animal Sanctuary in Sun Valley, Cheviot Hills, Main St. Santa Monica, Rancho Palos Verdes, and many more. These events offer a fun outdoor experience for families, with opportunities to meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and indulge in chocolate.

The LAist reports that the L.A. Zoo is celebrating Earth Day and Easter with special events all weekend. The event, titled “Wild for the Planet,” features photo opportunities with Big Bunny, performances from 3rd Rock Hip Hop, story time with the “Grumpy Monkey” creators, an Earth Expo with community and conservation groups, and special animal events with zoo staff.

Music lovers will be thrilled to know that AC/DC is bringing their Power Up tour to the Rose Bowl on Friday, April 18. The Australian hard rock band is touring behind their latest album and promises to deliver an energetic performance. Tickets start at $129.

In addition to AC/DC, electronic musician Baths will be performing at The Echo in Echo Park on Sunday, April 20. The show is part of his headlining tour for his new album “Gut,” which was on Pitchfork’s most anticipated albums of the year list.

For those looking for a more low-key experience, the Electric Lodge in Venice is hosting “BlissIn Out: Bloom into Spring,” an event featuring soundbath, music, mindfulness, and CBD-infused granola. The event takes place on Saturday, April 19, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Miracle Theatre in Inglewood is hosting a one-night-only show featuring Grammy-winning gospel artist Cory Henry on Sunday, April 20. The event, titled “Cory Henry presents: Church,” highlights Henry’s latest album and offers free tickets to families affected by the Eaton Fire.

Griffith Park is debuting 15 new trails, and to celebrate, the park is hosting an Earth Day event on Saturday, April 19. The event features a celebration of environmental programming and stewardship opportunities, as well as a chance to plant native flora at the Griffith Park Visitor Center.

For film enthusiasts, the Los Feliz Social Club is screening Joel Schumacher’s 1987 vampire cult classic, “The Lost Boys,” at LOOK Dine-In Cinemas in Glendale on Friday, April 18. The event benefits Neighborhood Housing Services of L.A.

In terms of dining deals, Flavors from Afar is hosting a Zimbabwe Dinner Series at their location on Hollywood Boulevard on April 18-19. Chef Kuda Grace will be serving a meal that is accompanied by music played on traditional Zimbabwean instruments.

Smorgasburg is hosting “Put an Egg on Everything Day: Caviar Edition” on Sunday, April 20, at the Row in downtown L.A. The event features caviar on almost everything, and eggs are optional.

Zaytinya, a restaurant in Culver City, is celebrating Greek Easter with a special four-course brunch. The menu includes spring pea tzatziki, dilly seared salmon, roasted asparagus with preserved lemon, and smoked lamb shoulder with lemon potatoes.

Habana is hosting Easter brunches at its Costa Mesa and Irvine locations on Sunday, April 20. The menu includes a three-course prix-fixe meal at the Costa Mesa location and a buffet brunch with a BBQ station at the Irvine location.

Lastly, the Pasea Hotel and Spa in Huntington Beach is hosting an Easter brunch and bubbles event on Sunday, April 20. The event features a seafood and breakfast buffet, an outdoor egg hunt, and live entertainment.
