Greece’s Klavdia Shines with ‘Asteromáta’ at Eurovision 2025

Greece’s Eurovision 2025 Entry Reviewed by Wiwi Jury

The Wiwi Jury, a team of music enthusiasts from Wiwibloggs, has been reviewing and rating the 37 competing songs in Eurovision 2025. In their latest review, they took a closer look at Greece’s entry, “Asteromáta,” performed by Klavdia.

According to Wiwibloggs, the song is a big ballad in Greek that has been well-received by the jury. Lucy, a member of the Wiwi Jury, stated, “I think Greece have been a little shy to send a big ballad in Greek for a while, given the lack of success in 2016 and 2018. They’ve taken the risk to bring it back in 2025, and thank goodness they have. ‘Asteromáta’ is wonderful. It has the ethnic elements with a backing beat accompanying them you’d hear on the radio. Klavdia’s vocals are obviously flawless, what an incredible performer! I just want to listen to this on a beach as the sun sets over the Med. It maybe gets a bit repetitive towards the end but I don’t mind, it’s just gorgeous.” She gave the song a score of 8.

Tomas, another member of the jury, had a slightly different opinion. He said, “Klavdia has such a beautiful voice and ‘Asteromáta’ is a wonderful ballad. However, I’m not as big of a fan of this entry as the rest will be. I hope the broadcaster makes changes to the performance. ‘Asteromáta’ itself is a beautiful ballad in Greek that reminds me of their 2018 entry ‘Oniro Mou’.” He gave the song a score of 4.5.

Simon, also from the Wiwi Jury, praised the song, saying, “Greece does best when sounding real Greek, and this is certainly the case with ‘Asteromáta’. Klavdia’s vocals sneak into your ears with a power and ease, and the subtle beat in the chorus makes you dream of the Aegean Sea and everything Greek. While beautifully executed, it needs the staging to match it, otherwise it could earn the same fate as ‘Oniro Mou’ from 2018 and be overlooked in the semi. But my hopes for Greece are high this year.” He gave the song a score of 8.

Tom, another juror, noted that the song feels like a Greek version of a “fado” song, stating, “It’s guttural, passionate and honest. To take it to the next level however, I feel the performance needs a bit more production to keep the audience hooked. With more interesting choreography, more accessible storytelling, I feel the performance will be elevated to greater heights — which I feel ‘Asteromáta’ needs if it wants to get the result it deserves.” He gave the song a score of 6.

The Wiwi Jury’s scores for Greece’s entry are as follows:

* Lucy: 8
* Tomas: 4.5
* Simon: 8
* Tom: 6
* Andreas: 7.5
* Antranig: 7.5
* Bernardo: 6
* Burak: 7.5
* Cinan: 9
* Deban: 8.5
* Jonathan: 8
* Jordi: 7
* Pablo: 6.5
* Ruxandra: 7
* Scarlett: 8
* Suzanne: 5.5
* William: 8.5

After removing the highest and lowest scores, the Wiwi Jury’s average score for Greece’s entry is 7.30/10.

As reported by Wiwibloggs, the jury’s verdict is that Greece’s entry has potential, but needs to be staged correctly to make an impact. The team from Wiwibloggs will continue to review and rate the remaining entries for Eurovision 2025.

In conclusion, Greece’s entry for Eurovision 2025, “Asteromáta,” has received a mixed review from the Wiwi Jury. While some members have praised the song, others have noted that it needs more production and staging to make an impact. As reported by Wiwibloggs, the jury’s average score for the song is 7.30/10.
