Sam Thompson Moves On from Zara McDermott with Love Island Star Samie Elishi
According to a report by The Sun, former I’m a Celeb winner Sam Thompson is moving on from his ex-girlfriend Zara McDermott after growing close to another Love Islander, Samie Elishi. The Made In Chelsea star, 32, has been swapping flirty messages with Samie, 25, after they followed each other on Instagram.
The news comes as no surprise to fans, as Sam and Zara, 28, split four months ago after five years together. A source close to the couple told The Sun that Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard, but Samie has put a smile back on his face. “She is a stunning girl and he’s told a few pals about her. He seems excited,” the source added.

The picture, taken during an outdoor lunch, showed a table set with blueberry pancakes and Eggs Benedict, with Louis’ arm visible in the background.
The pair were also spotted on a cosy dinner date at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, last month. A source told The Sun that Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and charmed her. “It’s clear he thinks she’s drop-dead gorgeous too,” the source added. Louis and Zara share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.
As for Samie, she has been making headlines recently for her appearances on Love Island. According to The Sun, Samie came third on Love Island in 2023 and was also in this year’s All Stars version. With her newfound connection to Sam, it will be interesting to see how their relationship develops.
