THUNDERBOLTS*: Shocking Post-Credits Scene Details Leak

Thunderbolts Post-Credits Scene Details Leaked Online – Spoilers

The highly anticipated Marvel movie, Thunderbolts, held its world premiere in London earlier tonight, and as expected, spoilers have begun to emerge online. According to sources close to the film, the movie features both a mid and post-credits scene, with details of the latter being revealed by MTTSH.

This is your final spoiler warning.

A number of social media reactions have described the post-credits sequence as "insane" and a "game changing moment," and while this might be a slight exaggeration, it does sound like the scene serves as a direct tie-in to the events of Avengers: Doomsday. As reported by Comic Book Movie, the post-credits scene for Thunderbolts goes as follows: "The New Avengers are in their new tower talking about Sam recruiting his own New Avengers team and how he has the copyright for that name. Then they hear about something coming from space, it’s the Fantastic Four ship coming into their universe."

We’re not sure if the Fantastic Four themselves actually appear, but Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards) was reportedly in attendance at the premiere. This development has sparked speculation among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of Thunderbolts and its potential connections to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie, which boasts a relatively modest budget of $180M (minus additional costs), is expected to perform well at the box office. Updated estimates predict that Thunderbolts will take in between $63 million – $77 million domestically over the course of its opening weekend. This wouldn’t be a bad result for a film featuring a cast of lesser-known stars, including Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, who are by far the biggest names in the ensemble.

As Comic Book Movie previously reported, the main cast of the movie (minus Olga Kurylenko) were confirmed to return for Avengers: Doomsday during Marvel’s recent live-stream. This news has likely excited fans of the franchise, who are eager to see how the events of Thunderbolts will unfold and impact the larger MCU narrative.

In terms of the film’s production, Marvel Studios recently announced that Son Lux will be scoring Thunderbolts. The three-member American experimental band was Oscar and BAFTA-nominated for their score for 2022’s best picture, Everything Everywhere All at Once. According to Comic Book Movie, Thunderbolts brings together an unconventional team of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.

The cast of Thunderbolts includes a mix of returning and new faces, with Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus all reprising their roles. Newcomers to the MCU include Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, and Wendell Edward Pierce. The film is directed by Jake Schreier, with Kevin Feige producing.

Thunderbolts is set to open in U.S. theaters on May 2, 2025. With its intriguing plot, talented cast, and connections to the wider MCU, this film is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases of the year.

As previously reported by Comic Book Movie, the movie’s runtime is a fairly standard 2 hours, 6 minutes. Fans of the franchise will have to wait until the film’s release to see how the events of Thunderbolts unfold and how they impact the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
