Celebrity Big Brother Viewers Spot Jack P Shepherd’s Uncanny Lookalike
Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have spotted a hilarious ‘lookalike’ for Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd after he was filmed in the garden wearing a black and white striped top. According to an article in the Daily Mail, viewers joked that Jack, 37, bore a striking resemblance to the burglar character from the popular PC game, The Sims.
The Daily Mail reports that in scenes which aired during Monday’s show, Jack was seen enjoying a cup of tea in the baggy top, black jeans, and Birkenstock Boston shoes. Cameras caught the moment Jack took a minute to ponder outside alone, however fans immediately compared him to a memorable character. The burglar, known as Robin Banks, appears in The Sims, The Sims 2, and The Sims 3, and is an iconic Sim who sneaks into houses, usually at night when Sims are asleep, to steal household items.
As reported by the Daily Mail, viewers took to social media to share their musings about the soap star’s doppelganger. "The way Jack skulks about the house in his stripy tops reminds me of the burglar on Sims," one person said. "Nice to see Jack serving some Sims realness on tonight’s ep," another fan joked.
The Daily Mail article also mentions that Jack’s striped top, skinny black trousers, and black shoes bore a striking likeness to The Burglar. While the character did not initially appear in the latest edition of the game, The Sims 4, she has since been made available as an update.
In other news, Jack had his fellow housemates in hysterics after revealing that Coronation Street’s Bill Roache still calls him by his screen name despite working together for 25 years. As quoted in the Daily Mail, Jack said: "Ken is 93… 65 years. He’s been on Coronation Street for 65 years." The revelation that actor Bill had starred on the soap for more than six decades, making him the longest-running cast member on Corrie, was greeted by general amazement from Jack’s fellow CBB contestants.
The Daily Mail reports that Jack also shared a story about his relationship with Bill, saying: "Yeah but that doesn’t matter… I’ve known him for 25 years, he still calls me f***ing David." Jack added: "I’ve worked with him for 25 years… He sees me in the corridor and I go, ‘morning Bill’, and he goes ‘ahhhh David’."
Fans took to social media to express their amusement at Jack’s comments and general lack of optimism for his colleague’s life expectancy. The Daily Mail article quotes several tweets, including: "JACK TALKING ABOUT KEN BARLOW ANSHDBJZNX #CBBUK"; "I just choked at Jack saying Ken Barlow could be dead while he’s in the house. As reported by the Daily Mail, Jack is into the final of this year’s CBB, along with Danny Beard, JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes, Chesney, and Donna. The former Corrie star revealed last week that he was involved in a terrifying near-fatal car accident.

He said: "I had a big car accident on M62. Yeah, just getting onto the slip road at M62, I fking skidded, spinned, and went through a barrier, and I was hanging over a bridge on the M62. The car was a fking Italian job."
