2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans: Thursday Tee Times and Round 1 Schedule
The 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans is set to kick off on Thursday, April 24, at TPC Louisiana. According to Golf.com, the opening round will feature a star-studded field, including the defending champions, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry.
McIlroy and Lowry, who won last year’s Zurich Classic, will tee off for Thursday’s opening round at 8:52 a.m. ET alongside the team of Billy Horschel and Tom Hoge. As reported by Golf.com, the duo will be looking to successfully defend their title in the PGA Tour’s only team event.
The Zurich Classic will feature a unique team format, with players competing in both stroke play and scramble formats throughout the tournament. As Golf.com notes, fans can watch Thursday’s first round from 3-6 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, with exclusive online coverage available via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ starting at 8 a.m. ET.

One of the most highly anticipated tee times for Round 1 is the 8:52 a.m. ET slot, which features McIlroy and Lowry alongside Horschel and Hoge. Golf.com reports that McIlroy and Lowry will be looking to build on their momentum from the 2025 Masters, where McIlroy secured a historic win.
