Rupert Grint Welcomes Newborn Baby with Partner Georgia Groome
Rupert Grint, the British actor best known for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, has been pictured with his newborn baby, sparking excitement among fans. The 36-year-old actor stepped out in Hampstead, London, with his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome and their adorable baby.
According to The Sun, Rupert and Georgia have welcomed a baby boy, whom they have named Goldie. The baby boy was wrapped in a cute blanket and appeared to have inherited Rupert’s signature red hair.
The actor later shared a photo of their newborn on Instagram, writing: "Introducing Goldie G. Grint. A 10/10 baby (so far)." Fans were quick to congratulate the couple, with one writing: "Congratulations! Another member of the Weasley household!"
Rupert and Georgia already have a four-year-old daughter, Wednesday, whom they welcomed almost five years ago. When they announced the arrival of their first child, Rupert joined Instagram and quickly gained over a million followers.
In 2021, Rupert spoke about fatherhood, telling Entertainment Tonight: "It’s great. I’m absolutely loving being a dad. It’s just the best thing. It’s amazing how it completely kind of takes over everything. It’s all I really care about, so it’s been great."
As reported by The Sun, Rupert has kept his personal life private, but has shared glimpses into his life as a father. During Georgia’s second pregnancy, Rupert faced a number of challenges, including a £1.8m tax bill dating back to 2011-12.
Rupert has a reported fortune of £42million and a massive property portfolio. He bought a 22-acre country estate in 2009 but is believed to have never actually lived there and tried to sell it for £6million in 2018.
Grint was just 11 when he was cast as Ron Weasley in the Potter films and now has a massive 5.3 million followers on Instagram. As noted by The Sun, the star recently appeared in Apple TV’s Servant and has kept fans updated on his life as a father.
Speaking about his experience as a father, Rupert said: "Red hair and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley." Fans have been loving the new addition to the family, and it seems Goldie has already stolen the hearts of many.
