Beyoncé Kicks Off Highly Anticipated Cowboy Carter Tour at SoFi Stadium

Beyoncé fans, affectionately known as the Beyhive, have been eagerly awaiting the launch of her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour. The wait finally came to an end on April 28, 2025, as the music icon took to the stage at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. According to a report by USA Today, the concert marked the beginning of a 32-date tour that will travel to nine cities in the U.S. and Europe.

As reported by USA Today, fans from around the world flocked to the stadium, donning cowboy hats and Levi’s Jeans, to get a glimpse of Beyoncé’s vision for this highly anticipated tour. The event was a spectacle, with a variety of music playing as fans filled the stadium. Attendees like Alessandro Marques, 31, who traveled 24 hours from Brazil, expressed their excitement, stating, “It’s a lot to take in and it’s so surreal but of course I’m so happy to be here.”

USA Today reported that the drinks served at the “Cowboy Carter” tour were fitting for the highly anticipated hoedown, with fans on social media sharing their mason jar-esque cups topped with white cowboy hats. The price tag? $43. SirDavis, Beyoncé’s whiskey brand, is the official spirit of the night. As fans waited for the concert to begin, many lined up at the merch truck parked outside, eager to get their hands on exclusive tour merchandise.

The set list for the concert is expected to feature a range of tracks from Beyoncé’s discography, including her latest album, “Cowboy Carter.” USA Today noted that the album, released in March 2024, deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. The album is the second part of a three-act project, with her seventh studio album, “Renaissance,” considered Act 1. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé became the first Black woman to take home the award for best country album and the first Black woman to win album of the year for a country album.

As fans took their seats, they were treated to a visual spectacle, with the stage set up to resemble a rodeo arena. USA Today reported that special guests, including Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy, who served as a dancer on her mom’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023, may make appearances during the concert. Other potential guests include Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Black female country artists featured on “Blackbiird,” Beyoncé’s cover of the Beatles song.

The Cowboy Carter tour will span nine cities and 32 shows, including a hometown stop in Houston and some holiday performances that are sure to stand out. USA Today provided a full list of tour dates, which can be found below:
