Emmerdale Star’s Daughter Throws Shade at Parents Amid Feud
A recent social media post by Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward’s daughter, Mia Dunn, has seemingly taken a swipe at her parents amid a reported feud. The Daily Star has learned that Mia, who has been estranged from her soap-star mother for four months, has been open about her disagreements with her parents over her career choices.
According to reports, Mia had a falling out with her parents after she joined an adult subscription picture sharing website. She previously accused her mum of being “jealous” of her quick rise to success, boasting about raking in £100,000 in just one month. As the Daily Star reported, Mia hinted that the “main thing with her mum” was jealousy because she “had Mia when she was really young”.
Mia has taken to social media to flaunt some risqué pics wearing office attire, posing for the new snaps wearing a cropped white blouse, stockings and a skirt. She captioned her post: “Got a ‘real’ job” and signed off with a tongue-out emoji. Many of Mia’s followers flocked to the comments section to praise the content creator’s photoshoot. As the Daily Star revealed, Mia joked that she’s found a “real job”.
Her parents reportedly disapprove of her career path, with her dad, former Blackburn footie star David Dunn, putting some distance between them. Mia has been open about the tension with her parents, telling The Sun: “I think she’s got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly.” As the Daily Star previously reported, Mia also stated that “I think that’s what my parents’ issue is really. They think I’ve done it off their backs but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter”.
Mia has been earning eye-watering figures on the exclusive platform, bragging that she’s making in ten times the amount she used to and all for roughly “about three days work”. Her daily hustle includes shooting videos, posting them online, and dealing with admin. Despite making it big-time and hustling hard, Mia is not shy to admit that her family is far from thrilled with her career choice.
The Daily Star has learned that Mia’s parents are not the only ones who have been critical of her career choices. However, Mia remains confident in her decisions, stating: “I feel so empowered on [the website]. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.” As the Daily Star reported, Mia opened up about finding out all the perks of the adult website from her creator pals last year.
