De Gea’s Partner Edurne Marks 14-Year Milestone

Edurne Celebrates 14 Years with David de Gea on Spanish Television

Spanish singer Edurne recently made a highly anticipated appearance on the popular television program El Hormiguero, where she not only promoted her new single but also shared personal insights that delighted fans. According to a report from Evrimagaci, Edurne’s visit was filled with laughter, reflections on her career, and heartfelt moments about her long-standing relationship with footballer David de Gea.

The conversation began with host Pablo Motos sharing an intriguing perspective on love, likening it to a state of ecstasy that lasts about ten months. “Did you know that when you’re in love, it’s like being in ecstasy? Your dopamine levels rise,” he stated, prompting Edurne to respond with a smile, “I didn’t know that.” The discussion then shifted to the nature of relationships, with Edurne noting, “There are relationships that end right after a year because of this,” illustrating the fleeting nature of some romances. As Evrimagaci reports, Edurne took a moment to pause the conversation and share a significant truth about her own love life. “I’ve been with David for 14 years and I’m still very happy, to be honest,” she declared, causing the audience to erupt in applause.

This heartfelt admission confirmed what many had suspected: her relationship with De Gea remains strong despite the challenges posed by their busy careers and the distance between them. Edurne also discussed her new song, Todo me recuerda a ti, which features a collaboration with Álvaro Mayo, a rising star from the latest edition of Operación Triunfo. As quoted in the Evrimagaci article, Edurne described Todo me recuerda a ti as a reflection of the intense feelings experienced during the early stages of love, when everything reminds you of that special person.

In addition to her music, Edurne shared insights into her role as a coach on La Voz Kids. She expressed her enthusiasm about working with a talented team, which includes fellow coaches like Lola Índigo, Manuel Turizo, and David Bisbal. “I’m very happy to be surrounded by such incredible talent and good people,” she remarked. The competitive environment has brought out her spirited side as she builds her team of young singers. Edurne also took the opportunity to discuss her family life, particularly her four-year-old daughter, Yanay. She revealed that Yanay is enamored with Christmas carols, even in May.

As reported by Evrimagaci, Edurne shared a lighthearted anecdote about her daughter’s love for Christmas songs, saying, “My daughter loves singing Christmas songs, especially Rudolf, and she even did a dance to it at school.” This painted a picture of a joyful home life, where music plays a central role. Edurne also described how her daughter enjoys decorating their dogs with collars and stickers. “I have dogs that deserve ten statues; they are saints! Yanay loves putting collars on them and even painting their nails,” she said, chuckling at the antics of her little girl.

As the conversation progressed, Edurne reflected on her career, celebrating 20 years since her debut on Operación Triunfo. To mark this milestone, she announced plans for two special concerts in Madrid and Barcelona, with a tour to follow next year. “I’m so happy to still be in music after 20 years, creating songs and performing on stage. I want to celebrate this with all my fans who have been with me since the beginning,” she expressed, showcasing her gratitude towards her supporters. According to Evrimagaci, Edurne’s time on El Hormiguero not only highlighted her musical achievements but also her personal growth and the enduring love she shares with David de Gea.

The couple’s relationship stands as a testament to the idea that true love can last beyond the typical expectations of romance. As Evrimagaci reports, Edurne’s appearance on the show was a delightful mix of music, personal revelations, and family anecdotes. Her vibrant personality shone through as she shared her journey as an artist and a mother, leaving the audience inspired and entertained. As she continues to navigate her successful career, Edurne remains a beloved figure in Spanish entertainment, embodying both talent and authenticity.
