A new Indian romantic drama series, The Royals, is set to premiere on Netflix, featuring a star-studded cast and a storyline that combines old-world charm with modern-day romance. The series, written by Neha Veena Sharma, follows the story of Prince Aviraaj, a carefree and party-loving prince who inherits the royal throne of Morpur, and Sophia Shekhar, a feisty CEO of a hospitality start-up.

Bhumi Pednekar plays Sophia Shekhar, an award-winning CEO of her own hospitality start-up, Work Potato.
