Jeremy Clarkson Breaks Silence on New Farmhand Harriet Cowan
In a recent video, Jeremy Clarkson has addressed the recent changes on his farm, confirming that Kaleb Cooper will not be leaving the show. The news comes after The Sun revealed the identity of Clarkson’s new farmhand, 24-year-old Harriet Cowan.
According to The Sun, Jeremy was left to manage Diddly Squat Farm on his own after Kaleb left to pursue a speaking tour and media career. However, Jeremy has now confirmed that Kaleb will be returning to the show. In a new Instagram video, Jeremy explained: "There has been lots of reports that Kaleb has been ‘replaced’ – well, no he hasn’t. What happened is this, he went away on his speaking tour, for a couple of months because he imagined that after four years, I’d be able to manage on my own. I didn’t – I made a complete mess of everything and had to bring in a young girl called Harriet."
Harriet, who has already landed a brand deal with Country Moos, a sock company dedicated to cow-designs, has joined the show to help Jeremy manage the farm. The Sun reported that she has spiced up Clarkson’s Farm and has quickly gotten to work.
In the new series of Clarkson’s Farm, set to debut on May 23, Jeremy will be forced to bring in some help after admitting that Kaleb has "left him in the lurch" after pursuing a showbiz career away from Diddly Squat Farm. A trailer for the show, which was shared on Harriet’s Instagram account, sees her arriving for an interview with Jeremy, where she admits she hasn’t watched Clarkson’s Farm beforehand and has no idea what she is signing up for.
Despite this, Kaleb’s replacement gets straight to work with Jeremy quickly remarking: "She’s brilliant." The new series of Clarkson’s Farm will air on Prime Video, and fans can expect more exciting developments on the farm.
