Cena and Uso Gun for Gold: What’s on the Line for WWE’s Biggest Stage – Inside the Predictions for WrestleMania 2025’s Title Matches

WWE’s Biggest Event of the Year: WrestleMania 41 Predictions

The world’s largest professional wrestling company, WWE, is set to host its biggest event of the year, WrestleMania 41, in Las Vegas. The two-night extravaganza will take place at Allegiant Stadium, featuring the company’s top stars in a series of high-stakes matches. According to The Independent‘s predictions, based on storyline developments and recent matches, here is how each contest may play out.

In the main event of Night 2, Cody Rhodes will face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE title. The Independent predicts that Cena will emerge victorious, breaking Ric Flair’s record of 16 world-title wins in what is reportedly Cena’s final year as a wrestler. As The Independent notes, “Despite his character’s vow to retire as champion, we predict Cena will have some nostalgic clashes with the likes of CM Punk and Randy Orton before honouring tradition and retiring on a loss.”

The men’s world-title fight between Gunther and Jey Uso is expected to be a closely contested match. However, The Independent believes that Uso will finally get his chance to shine, stating that “Uso has twice failed to beat Gunther in big matches, so surely he has to win at the third time of asking.” This victory would mark a significant moment in Uso’s singles career.

On Night 1, a grudge match between CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins will take center stage. The Independent predicts that there will be a swerve, with Paul Heyman, Reigns’s manager and Punk’s friend, betraying Punk and joining Rollins to secure the win.

In the Women’s World Championship match, Charlotte Flair will challenge Tiffany Stratton. The Independent notes that this match is tricky to call, but suggests that WWE may follow a familiar formula and put the belt on Flair, who is seeking a record-extending 15th world title.

The Women’s World Championship match between Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair may follow a similar pattern to the Rollins-Punk-Reigns triple threat. The Independent predicts that Sky may use her cunning to grab a win and keep the gold, stating that “allowing Sky to grab a win and keep the gold” could be a plausible outcome.

The match between Logan Paul and AJ Styles is expected to produce a high-flying, viral moment. However, The Independent believes that Styles will get the nod, stating that “Styles, who we’ll pick to get the nod after the opponents produce some high-flying, viral moment.”

In the fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental Title, Bron Breakker will defend his title against Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor. The Independent predicts that Mysterio will pick up his first singles title in the company, stating that “all signs point to ‘Dirty Dom’ betraying Balor and picking up his first singles title.”

The US Title match between LA Knight and Jacob Fatu is expected to be a closely contested match. However, The Independent believes that Fatu will emerge victorious, stating that “we think they’ll give Fatu the win and the gold.”

The all-luchador match between Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano is expected to be a fun and entertaining bout. The Independent predicts that Americano will pick up the victory, stating that “surely the dastardly Americano picks up the victory?”

Finally, the grudge match between Naomi and Jade Cargill is expected to be a dominant performance from Cargill. The Independent predicts that Cargill will exact revenge on Naomi, stating that “the returning Cargill should exact revenge – potentially in quick, emphatic fashion.”

These predictions are based on The Independent‘s analysis of recent storyline developments and match outcomes. WWE’s scripted entertainment often has unexpected twists and turns, making each match an exciting and unpredictable experience for fans.
