The Liver King, Brian Johnson, has broken his social media silence following the release of his documentary on Netflix, admitting that he was mistaken about his carnivore diet and steroid use. According to a report from Yahoo Lifestyle, Johnson, 48, gained nearly 3 million Instagram followers by sharing his workouts, daily meals, and personal life, but fell under public scrutiny after falsely claiming he built his physique naturally.
As reported by Yahoo Lifestyle, Johnson’s steroid use came to light in late 2022, when leaked emails showed he was spending over $11,000 a month on massive doses of Omnitrope, a pharmacy-grade HGH, along with other substances. The revelation led to a significant backlash, with many of his followers expressing disappointment and outrage.
In his most recent Instagram reel, posted yesterday, Johnson addressed his followers, stating, "As a family, we said yes to making a movie. Most of it seems to be true. Liver still is king, we eat nose to tail, everyday." However, in the epilogue of his documentary, Johnson shared that he no longer takes performance-enhancing drugs and admitted to not following a strict carnivore diet, now implementing fruits and vegetables into his diet.
