Atalanta Prepares for Season Finale Against Genoa
The penultimate match of the season for Atalanta takes place this evening at 20:45 at the Ferraris in Genoa, against a Genoa side that has already secured its position in the league. Atalanta, having already qualified for the Champions League and secured third place with 71 points, will be looking to end the championship on a high note and achieve two successive wins to round out the ranking to 77 points.
According to Quotidiano Sport, Atalanta will be without the burden of needing to secure a specific result, allowing them to field a team consisting of players who have seen less action in recent months. This will provide an opportunity for players such as Ibrahim Sulemana, who was the hero of Monday’s match against Roma, to get some game time.
