Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Romantic Yacht Getaway
As their June wedding date fast approaches, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are showing no signs of slowing down their romantic escapades. The Amazon founder, 61, and his fiancée, 55, were spotted getting up close and personal on his $500 million superyacht off the south coast of France.
According to photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Bezos was seen groping and even spanking Sanchez’s bottom as she lay on a lounge chair, clad in a tiny leopard-print bikini. The couple, who are expected to wed in a lavish multi-day ceremony in Venice, Italy, in late June, seemed to be in great spirits, with Sanchez even raising her arm up in the air and dancing.
The Daily Mail reports that Sanchez, a former TV host, has been enjoying a whirlwind romance with Bezos, who is worth an estimated $220 billion. The couple’s relationship began in scandal, with both parties still being married to other people when they started dating in 2019. However, after their romance was outed, Bezos swiftly divorced Mackenzie Scott, his wife of 26 years, while Sanchez also left her husband, talent agent Patrick Whitesell.
An insider told the Daily Mail that the couple are "like two kids in their relationship, they are madly in love and have endless fun with each other." The source added that Sanchez constantly gushes about how "perfect" Bezos is to her friends, and that all those around them have "never" seen them fight.
The couple’s romantic getaway comes hot on the heels of Sanchez’s dazzling, multi-day bachelorette party in Paris. Many of her A-list pals, including Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, and Kris Jenner, jetted off to the romantic French capital to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. Festivities kicked off with a private dinner at the historic Lafayette’s Paris restaurant, where the seabass with caviar sauce will set you back $215.
The Daily Mail reports that Sanchez has also chosen her bridal gown from Oscar de la Renta, her favorite designer. And when she does walk down the aisle next month, it’s likely going to be an even more lavish ordeal with an equally star-studded guest list. The couple has reportedly booked Elton John and Lady Gaga to perform, and rooms at the city’s best hotels have been booked for some 200 guests, including several members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, Perry and her partner Orlando Bloom, and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner, and model Karlie Kloss.
President Donald Trump has also reportedly received an invite. The couple was also seen enjoying a meal together with some friends on the boat, with Bezos opting for a more conservative look, donning swim trunks and a navy T-shirt.
Memorably, Bezos popped the question to Sanchez back in 2023 on his mega yacht, which he named ‘Koru’. The 417-foot vessel, which comes complete with helipad, multiple pools, bars and dining areas, boasts a vast wooden figurehead on its prow of a carved goddess that bears a striking resemblance to Sanchez.
The former TV host told Vogue soon after her engagement that when Bezos presented her with the huge diamond ring – thought to be worth some $2.5 million – she "kind of blacked out". The Daily Mail reports that the couple can’t help but act like "two kids" in their relationship and "have endless fun with each other".
As the couple prepares to tie the knot, it’s clear that their love is still going strong. With their romantic yacht getaway and lavish wedding plans, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are certainly making the most of their time together.
