Emirates Airline has announced plans to launch daily non-stop flights between Dubai (DXB) and Hangzhou (HGH), China, starting 30 July 2025. The new route, as reported by Aviation A2Z, will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER and will strengthen connectivity and economic ties between the UAE and China’s innovation hub.
According to Aviation A2Z, the service will offer 2,478 weekly seats and will connect travelers to 38 European, 22 African, and 11 Middle Eastern destinations via Dubai (DXB). Hangzhou (HGH), a tech powerhouse, offers unique opportunities for passengers and cargo operations.
The new flight will depart Dubai (DXB) at 0940, arriving in Hangzhou (HGH) at 2200, and the return flight will leave Hangzhou (HGH) at 0010, landing in Dubai (DXB) at 0455. Aviation A2Z reports that these timings will enable seamless connections to various destinations.
Aviation A2Z quotes Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, as saying: “Hangzhou, an emerging global hub for innovation and e-commerce, opens new avenues for passenger and cargo operations, fostering economic and technological exchanges between the Middle East and China.”
The expansion aligns with Emirates’ global growth strategy, enhancing access to East Asian markets and supporting UAE-China bilateral ties. The airline acknowledges the support of local authorities in establishing this route, aiming to boost global connectivity.
