Gallagher Brothers Reunite for Secret London Gig

Oasis Reunion: Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher Perform Together for First Time in 16 Years

In a surprise move, Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have reportedly performed together for the first time in 16 years, sparking excitement among fans ahead of their highly anticipated reunion tour. According to a report in The Sun, the once-warring siblings took to the stage at a top-secret show in London, where they filmed a set of songs for a promotional film.

The impromptu performance took place at a working men’s club in Newington Green, north London, with locals complaining about the noise made by the "Cigarettes and Alcohol" stars as they took over the Mildmay club on Thursday, April 24. Noel and Liam arrived and left separately, spending just an hour at the club. However, their meeting will provide reassurance to fans who have tickets to their massive stadium tour, which begins in Cardiff on July 4.

Speaking to TalkSport Radio this week, Noel revealed that rehearsals were about to begin and praised singer Liam for being on "tip-top form". Photos obtained by the newspaper showed Liam appearing in high spirits as he arrived at the club, before being joined inside by his older brother. As The Independent reports, the set was also used as an ad for sportswear giant Adidas, one of the brothers’ favourite brands.

Oasis split in 2009 following a huge fight backstage at the Rock en Seine festival. Fans have been clamouring to learn what songs will appear on the Oasis setlist for their tour, which will include several dates at Wembley Stadium in London and in their hometown of Manchester. The band will then head out to concerts in the US, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and South America.

Liam managed to wind fans up in February when he told one follower that Oasis would play for "just under 59 mins 59 secs" at their reunion shows, after they asked about a rumour that the gigs would last "only one hour". The Oasis ’25 tour will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the band’s second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, one of the biggest-selling LPs by a British act of all time.

Announcing the shows in August last year, a statement from the band said: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised." However, fans have been warned about ticket scams, with Lloyds Banking Group reporting that fans have lost more than £2m collectively since the band’s reunion tour went on sale. One Oasis fan reportedly lost more than £1,700 after falling for a scam during the frenzy for tickets.

As the highly anticipated reunion tour approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the official setlist. With the brothers’ history of high-profile feuds and public spats, the secrecy surrounding the tour has only added to the excitement. According to The Sun, the promotional film featuring the brothers’ performance will give fans a glimpse of what’s to come on the Oasis ’25 tour. The band’s reunion has been hailed as one of the most significant music events of the year, with fans and critics alike eagerly anticipating the shows.

The news of the brothers’ performance together will come as a relief to fans who have been waiting years for a reunion. As reported by The Independent, the band’s reunion tour will be a major event, with multiple dates across the globe. Fans are advised to be cautious when purchasing tickets, to avoid falling victim to scams. The Oasis ’25 tour promises to be a spectacular event, with the brothers Gallagher set to take to the stage together for the first time in over a decade.
