Hearts Eye Norwegian Striker Braga as McInnes Seeks Firepower

Hearts Boss Derek McInnes Sets Sights on Portuguese Striker Claudio Braga

In a bid to bolster his attacking lineup, Hearts manager Derek McInnes has set his sights on 25-year-old Portuguese striker Claudio Braga, currently playing for Norwegian second division outfit Aalesund FK. According to sources, the Jambos are keen on acquiring the services of the talented young striker, who has already made a name for himself in Norway.

As reported by the Daily Record, Braga has been impressive for Aalesund, scoring four goals in just 10 games. His versatility on the pitch is also a major draw for McInnes, as Braga can play through the middle or on the wing. With a valuation of around £400,000, the Scottish Premiership side will need to make a serious offer to secure his services.

Braga’s career has been on an upward trajectory, having started out in his homeland with Valadares Gaia, Fatima, and SC Ideal before making the move to Norway. Aalesund acquired him from rivals Moss last year, and it’s clear that he’s made a significant impact. As the Daily Record reports, Hearts are eager to add more firepower to their team, and Braga has emerged as a top target.

The Tynecastle side has already made some shrewd signings this season, including the permanent acquisition of striker Elton Kabangu. However, they’re still waiting to see if Lawrence Shankland will commit to a new deal. The capital side has also raided Norway previously, agreeing a deal to sign Christian Borchgevink from Valerenga.

As the transfer window heats up, Hearts fans will be eager to see if their club can secure the signing of Braga. With his impressive form and versatility on the pitch, he could prove to be a valuable addition to McInnes’ squad. As noted by the Daily Record, the 25-year-old has all the attributes to succeed in the Scottish Premiership.

The interest in Braga comes as no surprise, given his consistent performances for Aalesund. As Daily Record sources suggest, McInnes is keen to strengthen his attacking lineup, and Braga has emerged as a prime target.
