The Variety article also confirms that Belly’s older brother, Steven, played by Sean Kaufman, and her best friend, Taylor, played by Rain Spencer, will return in the final season. The show, which is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip, is based on the best-selling book trilogy from Jenny Han, who also serves as co-showrunner with Sara Kucserka.
As Variety notes, Han is also the author of the To All the Boys books, which were developed into a film franchise at Netflix, and she is an executive producer on the spinoff series, XO, Kitty, at Netflix.
