Instagram Page with 1 Lakh Followers Shut Down Over Suhas Shetty Murder Posts

Mangaluru Police Crack Down on Instagram Page Amid Communal Tensions

A provocative Instagram page with over 100,000 followers has been deactivated following concerns about its role in promoting hate and inciting enmity between communities in connection with the Suhas Shetty murder case in Mangaluru. According to reports from Daijiworld Media Network, the page, named beary_royal_nawab, was known for posting content that allegedly sought to inflame communal tensions and provoke hatred between religious and social groups.

The page’s posts were said to have made efforts to incite one community against another, prompting the Mangaluru police to correspond with the relevant law enforcement agency, requesting action against the Instagram page. As a result, the beary_royal_nawab page has been deactivated and is no longer accessible in India. Daijiworld Media Network reports that a total of three cases were registered at Barke and Mulki police stations in connection with the page’s activities, and these cases have now been transferred to the Mangaluru City Central Crime police station for further investigation.

The investigation into the matter is being carried out under the guidance of city police commissioner Anupam Agarwal IPS, deputy commissioners of police Siddharth Goyal IPS (Law & Order), and Ravishankar (Crime & Traffic). The CEN crime police station is continuing the probe, with authorities working to determine the extent of the page’s influence and the impact of its posts on the community.

The deactivation of the Instagram page has been seen as a significant move by the Mangaluru police to curb the spread of hate and communal tensions in the region. As Daijiworld Media Network notes, the page’s activities were being closely monitored, and the police took swift action to prevent further escalation of the situation.

The Suhas Shetty murder case, which is currently under investigation, has been a sensitive issue in Mangaluru, with authorities working to maintain peace and order in the region. The deactivation of the beary_royal_nawab Instagram page is seen as a positive step towards achieving this goal.

In a statement, authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available. For now, the deactivation of the Instagram page has brought some relief to the community, with hopes that it will help to reduce tensions and promote peace in the region.

As reported by Daijiworld Media Network, the Mangaluru police are continuing to work to identify and address any potential threats to communal harmony in the region, and the deactivation of the beary_royal_nawab Instagram page is seen as a key part of this effort. The police are urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
