Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters Pulled Off Air For Second Week Running
In a fresh blow for Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters, the show has been pulled off air and replaced for the second week running. The programme, which usually airs every Thursday at 8pm on BBC One, has been rescheduled due to the Eurovision Song Contest.
According to The Sun, the sixth episode of Interior Design Masters will now air on Wednesday, May 14th at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. This change comes ahead of the Eurovision Grand Final on Saturday, May 17th, where 26 countries will compete to be crowned the new Eurovision 2025 champion.
The Sun reports that there will be two live semi-finals, broadcast on Tuesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 15th, featuring all 37 countries competing in the Eurovision Song Contest. The top ten countries from each semi-final will then progress to Saturday’s Grand Final. In Thursday’s Semi-Final 2, viewers will also be treated to the first performance on the Eurovision stage from the UK representatives, Remember Monday, singing their entry song ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’.
This move is not the first time Interior Design Masters has been rescheduled, as The Sun previously revealed that the fifth episode of the show was rescheduled from Thursday, May 8th to the following Friday.
Executives at the BBC have decided to air a special programme at 8pm as part of a series of special programmes commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Titled “A Celebration to Remember,” the finale of the commemorations will culminate in a stunning concert. Zoe Ball will front coverage of the spectacular show from Horse Guards Parade in London, while BBC News presenter Sophie Raworth will also appear with coverage of the service of thanksgiving from Westminster Abbey earlier that day at 10:45am.
Meanwhile, Alan Carr has been spotted in Inverness preparing to start filming for the new series of Celebrity Traitors. The comedian, 48, was photographed alongside celebrity brainbox Stephen Fry, Olympic diver Tom Daley, and singer Charlotte Church. Host Claudia Winkleman touched down in Scotland earlier this week, with the stars heading to Ardross Castle to begin the game in the coming days.
As The Sun previously reported, 19 celebrities will take part in the series, which is expected to be shown in October. Interior Design Masters, on the other hand, focuses on ten talented interior designers as they battle it out for one life-changing contract. Alan Carr fronts the show alongside magazine editor Michelle Ogundehin, who serves as the judge.
The show airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters competing against other popular TV programmes for viewing figures.
