Aerosmith’s Joe Perry Announces The Joe Perry Project August 2025 Tour Dates
Renowned guitarist and songwriter Joe Perry, best known for his work with iconic rock band Aerosmith, has announced a series of August performances with The Joe Perry Project. The eight-date North American trek, which marks Perry’s first solo shows of 2025, kicks off on August 13 in Tampa, Florida, and wraps up on August 23 in Port Chester, New York.
According to a report from Blabbermouth.net, Perry will be joined by an all-star lineup of musicians for the tour, including Aerosmith bandmates Brad Whitford (guitar) and Buck Johnson (keys), as well as Chris Robinson (vocals) of The Black Crowes, and Robert DeLeo (bass) and Eric Kretz (drums) of Stone Temple Pilots. "Well…it’s time to let the music do the talkin again," Perry said, as quoted in the original article on Blabbermouth.net. "I’m really excited about the JPP line up this year!!!! Most of these guys played with me at The Roxy in L.A. at the debut event for my latest solo album [Sweetzerland Manifesto] in January 2018. They’re all busy as hell but thankfully they’re able to carve out some time for this run. And I’m not only lucky enough to have Brad Whitford onstage with me but Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes! [who sang Fortunate One on Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII], Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz from STP!!! and Buck Johnson who plays keys and sings with Aerosmith, the Hollywood Vampires, and is also a solo artist in his own right."
The set list for the shows will feature a mix of Perry’s favorite Joe Perry Project cuts, as well as songs from Stone Temple Pilots, The Black Crowes, and Aerosmith. "The set list is gonna include my fav JPP cuts, STP, BLACK CROWES, and with Brad we’ll be hitting the AERO hits and some deep cuts and then ya never know!!!! Gonna be a BLAST, and if you’ve ever been to one of my shows you know the words GARAGE BAND on STEROIDS come to mind! See you there!!!!" Perry added, as reported by Blabbermouth.net.

As a co-founding member, principal songwriter, electrifying lead guitarist, and co-producer of Aerosmith, Perry has achieved permanent iconic stature in the pantheon of rock. He has helped to drive his band, over the course of five decades, to sales of more than 150 million albums, critical acclaim, four Grammy Awards, and induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, as reported by Blabbermouth.net.
Throughout his career, Perry has received numerous accolades and honors for his work with Aerosmith, including 12 MTV Video Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, eight American Music Awards, 23 Boston Music Awards, and an Academy Award nomination for Best Song, "I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing" (from the soundtrack to "Armageddon").
