Pregnant Kelsey Parker Leads Stars at Charity Football Match in Memory of Late Husband Tom
Kelsey Parker, the pregnant TV personality, showed off her growing baby bump as she led the stars at an annual charity football match in memory of her late husband Tom on Saturday. The event, now in its third year, was held to raise money and awareness for brain tumour research, a cause close to Kelsey’s heart after Tom’s tragic death from brain cancer in 2022.
According to the Daily Mail, Kelsey, who shares kids Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted star Tom Parker, is now expecting a baby with her partner Will Lindsay, a tree surgeon. The couple announced their romance last September, and Kelsey previously revealed her third pregnancy was a ‘happy accident’.
Kelsey showed her support for the Tom Parker Foundation, set up in her late husband’s honour, at the charity’s annual football match, which was sponsored by Grove Gallery. She was supported by other famous faces for the event at Bromley FC, including brothers Ryan and Scott Thomas and Jacqueline Jossa’s husband Dan Osborne.
For the occasion, Kelsey sported a white T-shirt with Tom and her children’s names printed in a love heart, alongside other words in tribute to the singer. The Daily Mail reported that she sweetly cradled her growing baby bump and flashed a huge smile as she posed for the cameras at the charity event.
The annual event raises money and awareness for brain tumour research, and Kelsey has tirelessly campaigned since Tom’s death. Tom tragically died from brain cancer in 2022, at the age of 33, four years after marrying Kelsey. The Daily Mail also reported that Kelsey and Tom’s children Aurelia and Bodhi were carried onto the pitch by Kelsey and her partner Will, as the family gathered to remember the boy band star.
In a joint interview with her partner Will on ITV’s Lorraine, Kelsey opened up about the impact of meeting Will on her life and how the trolls don’t ‘understand how she feels’ because they are not in her shoes. She also spoke about the guilt she feels for moving on after Tom’s death, saying: ‘It’s been three years, this is Tom’s three year anniversary of his death and it’s almost like people want me to feel guilty for moving on.’ The Daily Mail quoted Kelsey as saying that she wants other women to feel like it’s OK to move on, and that it’s not taking anything away from the love she had for Tom.
Kelsey’s partner Will also attended the charity event, sporting the same T-shirt in honour of Tom. The couple’s support for the Tom Parker Foundation and their efforts to raise awareness for brain tumour research have been widely praised. As the Daily Mail reported, the event was a huge success, with many celebrities turning out to show their support for the cause.
