Kilmarnock Snap Up Former Dundee Star in Fourth Summer Deal

Kilmarnock FC has announced the signing of Scottish footballer Scott Tiffoney on a two-year deal, as reported by the Daily Record. The 26-year-old, who has previously played for Dundee and Livingston, joins the Ayrshire-based club as a versatile attacker who can play on either wing or centrally.

According to the Daily Record, Tiffoney’s addition to Kilmarnock’s attacking ranks comes after he spent two seasons at Dundee, where he made 76 appearances and scored 10 goals. The news was confirmed by Kilmarnock FC on their official website, with Tiffoney expressing his excitement about joining the club.

“I’m buzzing to be here,” Tiffoney told the Kilmarnock FC website, as quoted by the Daily Record. “As soon as I heard Kilmarnock were interested, it was something I really wanted to be part of. I’ve played here before as an opponent and always thought it was a great place to play football. The manager’s been really clear on what he wants and how I can fit in, so I’m just excited to get going and show the fans what I can bring.”

The Daily Record reports that Kilmarnock manager Stuart Kettlewell was also pleased with the signing, stating that Tiffoney is a player he has admired for some time. “Scott is a player that I’ve admired for a while, he’s a consistent performer in this league,” Kettlewell said. “As soon as we were alerted to his availability, it was one we wanted to get done. Again, he’s one that fits into the system we are going to be playing and he’s going to add to the quality we already have here. I look forward to getting to work with Scott as we kick off pre-season this week.”

As noted by the Daily Record, Tiffoney becomes the fourth new arrival at Kilmarnock this summer, following the signings of Jamie Brandon, Greg Kiltie, and Jack Thomson. With his top-flight experience and versatility, Tiffoney is expected to make a significant contribution to the team.

Tiffoney’s move to Kilmarnock FC marks a new chapter in his career, and the Daily Record has been informed that he is eager to make an impact at his new club. As the Ayrshire-based club prepares for the upcoming season, fans will be hoping that Tiffoney’s signing will help the team achieve success.

The Daily Record understands that Kilmarnock FC is building a strong squad ahead of the new season, and Tiffoney’s signing is a significant addition to the team. With his pace, skill, and experience, Tiffoney has the potential to make a real difference for Kilmarnock FC.
