Rangers Managerial Search Continues: Ancelotti, Gerrard, Martin, and Priske in the Frame
The search for a new manager at Rangers continues, with several high-profile candidates emerging as potential contenders for the job. According to The Scottish Sun, the club is continuing talks with various candidates, but supporters are growing impatient for an appointment.
SunSport columnist and Rangers hero Kris Boyd has expressed his concerns about the delay in appointing a new manager. “Whether it’s Davide Ancelotti, Steven Gerrard, Russell Martin, Brian Priske or someone else altogether, the time for an appointment is now,” Boyd said, as quoted in The Scottish Sun. “There was an assumption the club were on the verge of an announcement when they let Barry Ferguson go.”
Rangers are back for pre-season next month ahead of Champions League qualifiers just eight weeks from now, which are absolutely huge for the club. CEO Patrick Stewart and sporting director Kevin Thelwell better get a move on, though.
