Leroy Sané Linked to Premier League Return in Busy Transfer Window

Leroy Sané Set to Join Galatasaray as Bayern Munich’s Interest Wanes

In a shocking turn of events, Leroy Sané is poised to join Turkish champions Galatasaray, with the winger reportedly favouring a move to the Süper Lig side over a potential return to the Premier League. According to sources, Galatasaray have tabled an offer with wages close to £200,000 a week, which has piqued Sané’s interest.

The 29-year-old’s contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire at the end of the month, and despite an improved offer from the German club, Sané appears to be leaning towards a move to Turkey. His agent, Pini Zahavi, is still open to counter-offers, but Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham will need to act swiftly if they hope to secure his services.

Sané’s potential departure from Bayern has sparked interest from the German club in Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams. The 22-year-old has caught the eye of European scouts, and Bayern are reportedly keen to sign him. However, Athletic Bilbao have offered Williams a new contract in an attempt to keep him at the club, despite a release clause of €58m (£48m).

Bayern Munich’s Transfer Plans

Bayern’s interest in Williams is not the only transfer news surrounding the German club. According to The Guardian, PSG’s Bradley Barcola is another name linked with a move to the Allianz Arena. The young Frenchman was named on the bench for the Champions League final, but it remains to be seen whether he will make the move to Germany.

As reported by The Guardian, "Bayern want to replace Sané with Nico Williams after club scouts expertly identified, along with the rest of Europe, that the Spaniard is very, very good at football." This statement highlights the German club’s desire to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

Florian Wirtz Saga Nears Conclusion

The Florian Wirtz saga appears to be nearing its conclusion, with Bayer Leverkusen agreeing a deal with Liverpool worth around £127m, including add-ons. The 21-year-old playmaker has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, but it seems that he will now join the Reds.

As The Guardian reports, "The Florian Wirtz saga has kept us gainfully employed for a couple of weeks now, but it could be coming to an end after Bayer Leverkusen agreed a deal with Liverpool – thought to be around £127m, including add-ons – for the playmaker." This deal could have implications for Liverpool’s striker Darwin Núñez, who has been linked with a move to Al-Nassr.

Other Transfer News

In other transfer news, Al-Hilal have reportedly offered a significant sum for AC Milan’s Theo Hernández, but the French full-back has rejected the move and is instead poised to return to Atlético Madrid. Hernández came through Atlético’s academy before joining Real Madrid in 2017.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are in talks to extend the contract of third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton, 38, for another year. The Red Devils are also keen to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who has a release clause of €75m. As part of the deal, United could use Joshua Zirkzee as a makeweight, with the Dutch striker having impressed in Serie A with Bologna.

Kevin De Bruyne to Join Napoli

In a surprise move, Kevin De Bruyne has agreed a two-year contract with Napoli. The 33-year-old will join the Italian champions on a free transfer, providing a significant boost to their midfield.

As reported by The Guardian, "Fresh from running the show for Belgium against Wales, Kevin De Bruyne looks set to buy a few gallons of sun cream after agreeing a two-year contract with Napoli." This move will undoubtedly be seen as a coup for Napoli, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

Jamie Vardy’s Next Move

Finally, Jamie Vardy is set to leave Leicester City after his contract expired. The 38-year-old has been linked with a move to Rangers and Celtic, but it remains to be seen where he will ultimately end up. As The Guardian notes, "The Rumour Mill would love to see the Englishman’s very particular brand in MLS, but the 38-year-old surely has the quality to remain in Britain, whether it is in the Premier League, Championship or in Scotland."

In related news, James Trafford, who was instrumental in Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League, could be set for a move to Newcastle United. However, Nick Pope, a key performer for the Magpies this season, may have something to say about that.
