Lexus Nottingham Open 2025: Yulia Putintseva and Arthur Fery Shine on Day One

Meanwhile, Leylah Fernandez came through a tough match against Suzan Lamens 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, and Dayana Yastremska knocked out ninth seed Olga Danilovic 6-4, 7-6(4). According to the LTA, Fery will play Terence Atmane next, while Choinski faces Jaime Faria. However, British wild card George Loffhagen lost out to Australian James McCabe 6-3, 7-6(4) in the first round. Elsewhere, in the battle of the former junior world No.1s, Martin Landaluce defeated Nicolai Budkov Kjaer 6-2, 2-6, 6-2.
