Tributes Paid to Pauge Lynch of Carrigabruise, Virginia, Co. Cavan
A sad and regretful announcement has been made by Shannonside Northern Sound, regarding the passing of Pauge Lynch, who died peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Friday, 23rd May 2025. According to the report from Shannonside Northern Sound, Mr. Lynch, a resident of Carrigabruise, Virginia, Co. Cavan, is survived by a large and grieving family.
As reported by Shannonside Northern Sound, Mr. Lynch was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Lucy, his brother Peter, his sister Sue, and his wife Bernie. He is deeply regretted by his loving daughter, Alison (Pauric Tighe), and his son, Stephen (Laura Cooney). The family also announced that Mr. Lynch will be sadly missed by his son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren; Éabha, Lorna, BrÃan, and Sinéad.
The Shannonside Northern Sound report stated that Mr. Lynch is also survived by his sisters; Maureen (Dunne), Kathleen (Hayes), Margaret (Devane), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral arrangements have been announced, with the reposing of Mr. Lynch’s body taking place in Matthew’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until prayers at 8 o’clock.
The removal of the body will take place on Sunday afternoon, arriving at St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera (A82RR66) for a 2 o’clock Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In an expression of sympathy, Shannonside Northern Sound stated that they would like to offer their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
As is customary, the Shannonside Northern Sound publication has opened a condolence book for those wishing to pay their respects and share memories of Mr. Lynch. Those unable to attend the funeral or wishing to sympathise with the family can leave their messages on the publication’s website. It is noted that comments are held for moderation and an approval process takes place before condolences appear.
