Love Island Bosses Line Up Glamorous Liverpudlian Makeup Artist for Upcoming Season
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Love Island bosses have confirmed that a glamorous Liverpudlian makeup artist, Lucy Quinn, 20, will be joining the show as a bombshell in the upcoming season. The Daily Mail reports that Lucy, who regularly shares photos of her beautified clients on Instagram, will enter the Mallorca villa as a bombshell once the eight-week series is underway.
The news comes as the show celebrates its 10th anniversary, with a special episode featuring Islanders from past seasons returning to share their experiences. The Daily Mail has learned that Lucy is single and ready to mingle, and is looking for the man of her dreams. A TV source told the Daily Mail, “Lucy is single and ready to mingle. She can’t wait to enter the Love Island villa and is counting down the days until it becomes a reality. She’s fiery and doesn’t take any nonsense when it comes to dating but is equally looking for the man of her dreams, hopefully all will come true for her this summer.”
Lucy will be joining a new cast of singletons, including 6ft5 personal trainer Aaron Buckett. According to the Daily Mail, Aaron has a lot to offer potential daters, and is a fitness fan. A TV insider told The Sun, “Love Island execs are still finalising whether he’ll be in the opening line-up or as a tempting bombshell.”
The upcoming season of Love Island promises to be the most dramatic yet, with host Maya Jama demanding “bigger and bolder ideas” from a boardroom of executives. In a brand-new trailer to tease the series, Maya says, “This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more make-ups, I want more twists, I want more twists than ever.” The Daily Mail reports that ITV will be revealing the full cast of singletons next week ahead of the show’s launch.
Maya Jama has also taken to social media to share her excitement for the upcoming season. She posted an image of six suitcases and three bags ahead of her trip to the airport, and wrote on Instagram, “On holiday until I start Love Island” as she posted videos of herself dancing. The Daily Mail has approached ITV for comment.
As well as the summer instalment, Love Island is celebrating 10 years on screen with an anniversary special, “Love Island: A Decade of Love”, where Islanders from the past will return to share their experiences having appeared in the famous villa. The Daily Mail reports that Gabby Allen, who won the title and £50,000 prize pot alongside Casey O’Gorman in February’s Love Island: All Stars, is confirmed to appear on the anniversary special.
The anniversary special will also feature chats from series two winners Cara De La Hoyde and her husband Nathan Massey, as well as former champions Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who still remain together. According to the Daily Mail, Love Island: A Decade of Love will give fans a chance to reminisce about the show’s greatest moments and catch up with their favourite Islanders.
The show’s production team is said to be working hard to make the upcoming season the most exciting yet, with plenty of twists and turns. With Lucy Quinn and Aaron Buckett set to join the cast, fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the new season. As the Daily Mail reports, the show is set to be bigger and bolder than ever, with Maya Jama at the helm.
The Daily Mail also confirmed that Love Island bosses have lined up plenty of surprises for the upcoming season, including new challenges and games. With the show celebrating its 10th anniversary, fans can expect a season to remember.
