MAFS Star, 53, Hospitalized After Sudden Heart Attack

Married At First Sight Star Suffers Heart Attack

A shocking story has emerged from Australia, where Married At First Sight star Tony Mojanovski, 53, was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack. The reality TV alum, who appeared in the latest Australian version of the love-matching series, was taken to Wollongong Hospital in New South Wales.

According to reports, Tony, who tied the knot with Morena Farina on the show, had been experiencing chest pains that led to surgery. In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, Tony revealed that his “love of partying and cigarettes” had taken a toll on his health. He confessed to not feeling too good for some time but is now on the mend, sharing his “pretty scary” brush with death.

The Daily Star understands that Tony’s chest discomfort had been a long-standing issue, with the reality TV star describing occasional feelings of pressure on his chest, akin to heartburn, which had been troubling him. He also pondered if his health issues might be genetic, given his mother’s tragic passing from an aneurysm.

Tony was candid about his lifestyle choices contributing to his hospital dash, owning up to his smoking habit and excessive revelry. “I was smoking, the cigarettes, the stress, being on the boat, partying – just too many things,” he said. “It caught up with me, mate. I just need some time without the partying.”

The Daily Star can confirm that Tony was visited in hospital by his MAFS co-star, Ryan Donnelly, who posted a video of their warm reunion as Tony recuperated. However, Tony’s on-show relationship with his wife, Morena, isn’t as friendly. On their wedding day, there were high expectations for the couple as they appeared to have a real connection.

Unfortunately, after only two weeks, Tony stunned his bride when he expressed his desire for a younger partner to start a family. Following that, the relationship deteriorated, and the couple exited the experiment shortly after, with Morena writing: “Good riddance!” on her exit card. Speaking after their split, Tony told 9Entertainment: “I wanted to at least feel the experience, to learn off her, learn from the experts, get some information about where we’re going wrong in life.”

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, Tony revealed that he had been experiencing symptoms for some time, saying: “Luckily I went straight to the doctors. During the week I wasn’t feeling well. It has been happening for a long time.” The Daily Star has learned that Tony is now recovering and taking steps to improve his health.

The incident has raised concerns about the health and wellbeing of reality TV stars, with many calling for greater support and resources for those appearing on high-pressure shows. As one source close to the show told the Daily Star: “These stars are under a lot of stress and pressure, and it’s not always easy to cope.”

In related news, the Daily Star has learned that Married At First Sight will return for another season, with a new cast of contestants ready to take on the challenge of finding love on national television.
