Morocco and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Cooperation in Transport Sector

"We have very close cooperation ties and we are working together to consolidate our partnership, under the leadership of our two Heads of State, in the interest of our peoples," he said.
Al-Jasser also praised the progress made by Morocco under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, highlighting the country’s significant advancements in the transport sector and its ambitious projects, particularly in the context of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
For his part, Moroccan Minister of Transport, Logistics, and Water, Abdelkader Amara, noted that the high-level meeting had provided an opportunity for exchanging views and experiences. He recalled that Saudi Arabia has considerable experience in railway infrastructure and aviation.
In a similar statement, Amara added that the meeting had also examined the level of cooperation at the regional and international levels, praising the support expressed by the Saudi official, and through him, by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), for Morocco’s candidacy to sit on the Council of this organization.
