McDonald’s New Menu Launching Tomorrow
The fast-food giant has dubbed its latest creation “iconic”. According to Bristol Post, a new burger that has never been part of the McDonald’s UK menu before is launching tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18.
The “rich and creamy” Big Arch burger features two succulent beef patties adorned with cheddar cheese, signature sauce, crispy and fresh onions, lettuce, and pickles, all sandwiched in a poppy and sesame seed-topped bun. Bristol Post reports that fans can get their hands on the new burger in restaurants and through delivery services from Wednesday, June 18.
McDonald’s promises that the Big Arch sauce will be “packed full of that unmistakably McDonald’s flavour”. The company’s Head of Menu, Thomas O’Neill, said: “A new iconic burger needs an equally iconic sauce, and we’ve taken it up a notch with the Big Arch. This isn’t just about size, it’s about flavour. With double layers of beef, crispy onions, and the hero of the build, our signature sauce, every bite is crafted to hit the spot to satisfy serious McDonald’s hunger. Big, bold, and packed with serious deliciousness.” Bristol Post quoted the Head of Menu.
The revamp of the menu extends beyond just the burgers, as the company teases “something just for you” coming up this Summer. From toffee aficionados to burger enthusiasts, spice lovers, and cheese buffs, the new items are sure to please a variety of palates. Bristol Post states that the dessert line-up welcomes the Toffee Crisp McFlurry – soft dairy ice cream mingled with Toffee Crisp chunks and finished with a drizzle of toffee sauce.
Also making an appearance is the Toffee Apple Pie, a warm delight comprising crisp pastry filled with a sweet toffee centre. Sticking around for a bit longer is the Katsu Chicken One. Food enthusiasts can opt for either crispy or grilled chicken, smothered in a tasty katsu sauce, accompanied by crispy onions, cucumber, and lettuce – all bundled up in a toasted tortilla.
Meanwhile, making a triumphant return due to popular demand, is the Cheesy McCrispy. This dish consists of a chicken breast fillet in a crunchy coating, served with lettuce, onions, pink pickled onion chutney, bacon, Emmental cheese and a deluxe cheese sauce. Finally, making a comeback is the side order of Halloumi fries. Just like before, they’ll be served with a sweet chilli dip.
