Minogue Matches Up on BBC Three

Dannii Minogue Returns to BBC Three with I Kissed A Boy

The popular gay dating show, I Kissed A Boy, is back for a second run of episodes on BBC Three and the iPlayer, with pop goddess Dannii Minogue at the helm. The show, which is the UK’s first ever gay dating programme, sees ten singles matched up and meeting for the very first time with a kiss.

According to Dannii Minogue, the contestants are "brave and open hearted, and here for love." In an interview, Minogue praised the contestants, saying, "I love how they all went at their own pace, but made the absolute most out of three sun filled weeks in the stunning surrounds of Puglia in Italy." The show is set against the backdrop of a sun-soaked Italian masseria, and promises to be an "ultimate summer of love" packed with big feelings, untold stories, fierce fashion, and plenty of drama. With Dannii Minogue hosting and Layton Williams back on narration duties, the party is just getting started.

The contestants, who are all looking for love, are from all over the UK and have a range of professions. They include Adam, 27, from Reading, who works as a Marketing and Brand Manager; Aron, 27, from Croydon, who is a Civil Servant and Cheerleading coach; and Callum, 27, an Administrator from St Leonard’s on Sea, Hastings. The other contestants are Jack D, 26, from Glasgow, who works as a Hospital Pharmacist; Jack S, 22, from Wigan, who is a Banking Advisor; Jaz, 27, from Glasgow, who works as a Finance Analyst; Jordan B, 25, a Retail Store Manager from The Lake District; Jordon R, 27, from Leeds, who is a Sales Manager; Lars, 23, a Hotel Receptionist from Wolverhampton; Rory, 22, a Mental Health Support Worker from Galway, Ireland; and finally Ruben, 24, from London, who works as an Artist and designer.

In an interview with ATV Today, Minogue explained that she wants to help the contestants find love. She said, "I want to be there to assist with these boys looking for love. It all starts with the romantic setting of the masseria and lots of sunshine. The escape from phones, texting and swiping on apps really helps encourage deep and real conversation. I just help it all move along and hope for a lasting match." (Source: ATV Today)
