Golfers Magazine Reports: Dutch Trio Shine at KLM Open

Daan Huizing, who had the best round of the three, expressed his satisfaction with the day’s play. As quoted by Golfers Magazine, Huizing said, “It played really friendlier than yesterday. The course is in such good condition, plays so pure that it’s a great challenge. You can almost not approach links golf better than this. If you choose the right lines and stick to your plan, you can make a score here.”
Huizing finished the day with a score of -2, placing him on the edge of the top-10. Golfers Magazine reports that he was pleased with his performance, apart from a bogey on the par-3 17th hole.
Darius van Driel, on the other hand, had a mixed day. As per Golfers Magazine, he described the experience as “leuk, maar ook heel saai” (fun, but also very boring). Van Driel finished with 15 pars, a birdie, and two bogeys, leaving him with a score of +1.
Johannes Veerman enjoyed the day’s play and the company of his fellow Dutch golfers. Golfers Magazine quotes him as saying, “It was good fun. I like Darius and Daan a lot, and it was great to be Dutch today.” Veerman is working on improving his game and was pleased to have made progress.
Other notable performances came from Lars van der Vight, who had a strong start but faltered in the second half of his round, and Lars van Meijel, who struggled to stay under par for the second consecutive day.
