2025 U.S. Open Saturday Tee Times: Round 3 Pairings Revealed
The 2025 U.S. Open is set to hit the weekend on Saturday with the third round at iconic Oakmont, as reported by Golf.com. According to the Golf.com article, the full U.S. Open tee times for Saturday’s third round were released after the end of Round 2.
In an update, Golf.com reported that Round 2 was suspended due to severe weather at 8:15 p.m. ET on Friday evening. U.S. Open officials announced that the players remaining on the course would return on Saturday morning to complete their second rounds beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET.
As per Golf.com, third-round tee times for the U.S. Open are determined based on players’ positions on the leaderboard after Round 2. The Golf.com article stated that once the final putt drops on Saturday morning, players who missed the cut will head home, while the survivors will be placed in two-player pairings for Round 3.
Golf.com also noted that those who narrowly made the cut will tee off first on Saturday morning, while the leaders will tee off in the final pairings in the afternoon. According to the Golf.com report, on Saturday at the 2024 U.S. Open, Ryan Fox and Sahith Theegala opened the action at 8:44 a.m. ET, while Bryson DeChambeau and Ludvig Ã…berg shared the final pairing, teeing off at 3:35 p.m. ET.
