Peppa Pig: Surprise Party to Bring Immersive Fun to UK’s Metrocentre this Autumn
According to a report by Blooloop, a new immersive experience, Peppa Pig: Surprise Party, is set to launch at the UK’s Metrocentre shopping centre in Gateshead, near Newcastle, this autumn. As reported by the source, this 19,000-square-foot experience is described as the UK’s first-ever Peppa Pig immersive experience.
The Blooloop report states that young guests will have the opportunity to interact with characters and explore iconic scenes from the popular animated TV series. The experience will feature interactive storytelling, state-of-the-art puppets, theatrical performances, hands-on activities, and original audiovisual (AV) content throughout. As quoted in the Blooloop article, Matt Proulx, senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships and music at Hasbro, said: "Peppa Pig: Surprise Party is a fresh and playful take on Peppa’s beloved world. The experience invites families on a brand-new adventure – packed with unexpected moments, interactive fun and big surprises for little fans."
During the experience, visitors will get to choose the perfect gift with Miss Rabbit and sing along with Madame Gazelle. The experience will culminate in a celebration with Peppa’s family at their house, complete with party hats and even muddy puddles. The attraction will also include a variety of photo opportunities, and a gift shop selling exclusive souvenirs and Peppa Pig merchandise. According to Blooloop, the experience is designed specifically for young children by live entertainment company Immersive Everywhere in collaboration with Hasbro.
The Blooloop report also mentions that the attraction will include a free buggy park and cloakroom, as well as a sensory room with a calming colour, changing lights, soothing music, toys, and bubble tubes. As stated in the Blooloop article, Matt Proulx added: "It’s a joyful addition to Peppa’s live event lineup, and we can’t wait for families to jump in and celebrate with her."
Peppa Pig’s live, breathe, and experience (LBE) footprint is growing, with three Peppa Pig theme parks (two in the US and one in Germany) now open to little fans.
