York City Football Club Announces General Sale Ticket Details for Play-Off Semi-Final
York City Football Club has confirmed the general sale ticketing details for the upcoming play-off semi-final match against either Oldham Athletic or FC Halifax Town on Tuesday, 20th May. The club, as reported by York City Football Club’s official website, has announced that the general sale for tickets will begin at 12 noon on Monday.
In a move to prevent ticket touting, the club has set a maximum of 4 tickets per account for the general sale. Supporters are urged to think of their fellow fans when purchasing tickets and to only buy tickets if they are 100% certain of attending. According to York City Football Club, any tickets found to have been resold online above the standard price will be instantly blocked, and no refund will be given.
Tickets can be purchased online, in-person at the LNER Community Stadium, or over the phone on 01904 950950. The ticket desk will be open from 10am-5pm (Monday-Friday) and 10am-2pm on weekends. York City Football Club’s official website reports that demand for tickets is likely to be high, and as such, the club expects all tickets to sell out shortly after the general sale window is released.
The club has also announced the seating arrangements for the match. Home fans will be seated in the East, South, and half of the West Stand. As per National League rules, the opposing team will be allocated 15% of the stadium, which will be the North Stand and the West Stand overflow (blocks WI, WH & WG). Block WF will be kept as segregation.
The ticket prices for the match have been announced as follows:
- Adult: £22
- Concession (Over 65): £17
- Student: £10
- Aged 12-16: £10
- Aged 11 & under*: £7
- Carers**: FREE when accompanying a paid ticket holder
An £0.80p booking fee is applicable per ticket. As York City Football Club notes, children under 11 can only purchase tickets with an adult or concession ticket within the same basket transaction.
Hospitality packages will be available for current LNER Lounge Season Ticket holders, who will have access to purchase tickets in the LNER Lounge for this game. Other hospitality packages will be subject to availability, and supporters can email [email protected] for more information.
Away supporters, depending on the opposing team, should not attempt to purchase tickets in any area of the stadium until further notice. York City Football Club warns that supporters found to have done so will have their tickets cancelled.
