AFC Wimbledon’s Captain Jake Reeves Aims for Historic Promotion to League One
AFC Wimbledon is on the cusp of making history as they face Walsall at Wembley Stadium today, with a spot in League One up for grabs. The Dons, led by captain Jake Reeves, are looking to achieve promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time since 2016.
According to the Mirror, Reeves was part of the Wimbledon team that beat Plymouth at Wembley in 2016, earning promotion to League One. Now, nine years later, he will lead the team out at the iconic stadium once again, with the hopes of securing another promotion.
