Rik Mayall Comedy Festival Kicks Off in Worcester with Over 200 Events
The inaugural Rik Mayall Comedy Festival is set to bring laughter and entertainment to Worcester this weekend, with over 200 comedy events taking place across the town. The festival, which is a tribute to the late comedian Rik Mayall, will feature big-name comedians such as Greg Davies and Shaparak Khorsandi.
According to the Worcester News, the festival will start with a bang on Saturday, May 31, with a free-to-attend launch event spread across Victoria Square, St Andrew’s Square Shopping Centre, and the Droitwich Library. "In my teenage years, I was obsessed with the Young Ones and the Comic Strip crew," he said.
