Singer-songwriter Role Model has announced that he will be canceling a few shows to focus on filming Lena Dunham’s upcoming Netflix film, ‘Good Sex’. According to a statement posted on Instagram, Role Model will be dropping out of most of Gracie Abrams’ shows, where he was scheduled as an opener, as well as an upcoming festival appearance at the Calgary Stampede.

However, Role Model will still be joining Abrams for shows at Mexico City’s Pepsi Center and New York City’s Madison Square Garden. “I am so sorry to anyone disappointed by this but the GOOD news is, you’ll get to experience the incredible Djo, [Griff], and of course [Abrams] live and for that I’m jealous,” he wrote. “I promise to make the shows we DO have together memorable and thank you always for your understanding. See you soon.”
Role Model, credited by his real name Tucker Pillsbury, will be starring alongside Natalie Portman and Mark Ruffalo in ‘Good Sex’, which is set to film later this year.
