According to the municipal decision and public consultation in April 2024, the fair will officially commence on Tuesday, May 6th, and conclude on Sunday, May 11th. The festivities, however, will kick off a day earlier with the El Alumbrado or "Noche del Pescaíto" event, which involves the illumination of the main gate and spaces.
The Feria de Sevilla is one of the most iconic events in Spain, attracting millions of visitors worldwide. As Le Petit Journal reports, in 2024, the event drew a staggering three million attendees. A Day Off for Revelers to Enjoy the Feria

This day is traditionally reserved for enjoying rebujitos, horseback rides, and sevillanas with style. The Real de la Feria, the fairgrounds, will be at its peak, with the majority of Sevillians attending the event.

The evening of May 5th will mark the beginning of the Feria de Sevilla with the "Noche del Pescaito" event. At midnight, the main gate of the Real de la Feria will be illuminated, officially kicking off the celebrations. Exhibition Showcasing the First Photo of Feria
An exhibition at the Seville Fine Arts Museum features the first photograph taken at the Feria de Abril in 1859. The rare image, acquired at an auction in Paris, showcases a stall belonging to the Dukes of Montpensier. This unique calotype print measures 132 x 230 millimeters and is a remarkable piece of Sevillian history.
As reported by Le Petit Journal, the exhibition will be on display until June 8th, featuring over 80 original pieces, including views of monuments, portraits, and reproductions of paintings.
