St Johnstone Football Club Secures Multi-Year Kit Sponsorship Deal with MandM
In a significant move, St Johnstone Football Club has announced a multi-year kit sponsorship deal with online fashion retailer MandM. The company will feature prominently on the front of the men’s and women’s jerseys starting from the next season, as reported by The Courier.
MandM is owned by the Danish fashion group Bestseller, headed by billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen. As the largest shareholder in online megastore ASOS, Povlsen is considered the richest man in Scotland due to his vast landholdings across the Highlands. His company, Bestseller, has a significant presence in the fashion industry, and this deal marks a new venture into Scottish football.
The deal has been welcomed by St Johnstone CEO, Fran Smith, who said, “This multi-year agreement provides stability and aligns with our vision for sustained growth. We look forward to building a strong and successful relationship together that benefits both parties and our supporters,” as quoted in The Courier. Smith also expressed his gratitude to long-term men’s sponsor GS Brown Construction and women’s sponsor Aberdein Considine for their continued support.
Anders Holch Povlsen has strong connections to football through his “Football Collective,” which includes FC Midtjylland in its portfolio. Last year, he was linked with investing in Dundee United, highlighting his interest in Scottish football. The partnership with St Johnstone marks a new chapter in Povlsen’s involvement with the sport in Scotland.

In addition to the kit sponsorship deal with MandM, St Johnstone has also announced new partnerships with existing sponsors. Sidey will continue as the sponsor at the top of the back of the shirt on a new three-year deal, while A&B Taxis will again occupy the bottom of the back of the shirt. AIIR Environmental will appear on the first team jersey, sponsoring the sleeve on a two-year deal. Saints in the Community’s name will be featured on the shorts.
