To survive, the player must forage for supplies, craft tools and weapons, and hunt for food, water, and shelter, relying solely on their wits to protect themselves from the ever-closing in undead horde.
The game features physics-based mechanics, which require the player to think strategically to stay alive. This includes stacking furniture to barricade doors, using low fences to trip up undead foes, and lopping off limbs to reduce the undead to angry, wriggling torsos.
